The Religion of the Future
March 31 @ 2:30 pm - 6:30 pmFree
The 4th and last Seminar of the “Finding the Path” series is on “The Religion of the Future” and will be held on Easter Saturday, 31st March.
Join us to hear what Theosophy teaches about spiritual practices, where they have come from, how they are changing and may develop.
The seminar will examine ancient spiritual practices – both before and after Christianity and Buddhism – and indicate the theosophical ideas that may guide the religions of the future.
There will be two short talks, each followed by study workshops of 1 hr each, based on original theosophical texts from H.P.Blavatsky and William Q Judge:
1. The Wisdom Religion of the Past
2. The Changing Face of Religion
As we go through the current period there is a sense that the time is coming when the perennial principles of goodness, truth and justice will be re-discovered by the people, by their own searches, within their own control for their – and wider – benefit.
To intelligently and consciously seek the Truth – whether hidden in old philosophies or honorable mystic traditions – is one of the aims of Theosophical Movement, outside the structures of mainstream religion.
