Seminar: 21st Century Science and The Ancient Wisdom

The meeting will include three short talks and two study sessions:
1. The Role of Science in the view of “The Secret Doctrine”
2. Electricity, the Sun, and The Electric Universe Theory
3. Consciousness in Scientific and Spiritual Practices

The first two talks will show the Ancient Theo-Sophia is not in conflict with modern science where its conclusions are based on correct facts, but when science oversteps the limits of observed phenomena “in order to penetrate into the arcana of Being” and attempts to attribute the formation of Kosmos to blind matter and divorce the living intelligent Forces in Nature from Spirit then “the Occultists claim the right to dispute and call in question their theories.” (from “The Secret Doctrine”)
The third talk will show what consciousness is and provide a brief toolkit of practices such as forbearance, resignation, and meditation, as ways in which to raise our consciousness.
