Seminar: Planetary Karma and The Environment
December 7 @ 3:00 pm - 6:30 pmFree
Our individual destiny (self-created Karma) is not separate from the planet’s, at the seminar we will see that Theosophy shows how humanity to be a responsible guardian of our globe.
The seminar will have three talks, with study and discussion/Q&A panels. All welcome, doors open 30 minutes before start time
Talks will be on:
- Collective Karma and The Environment
- The Law of Unity and Interdependence
- Our Role as Stewards of Nature
As we awake to the necessity of caring for the planet, some needed changes are being made. The seminar will propose what these could be by identifying that the key to the problem lies in regaining our awareness of the Earth as living entity, and that as we come to a better understanding of ourselves and our needs we will regain this old knowledge.
Theosophy is part of the ‘perennial Wisdom’ which provides a sustainable and coherent world view that is both spiritual and practical, moral and realistic.
It is proposed that a cultivation of the love and respect for the natural world that we once had will be the best protection for the future.
Theosophy maintains that our individual Karma (our self-created destiny) is not separate from the Karma of the whole human race and the planet which we call our home. The Earth is alive, not only physically but spiritually. In the Stanzas from the Secret Book of Dzyan, translated by H. P. Blavatsky, it is called “Radiant Earth” and William Q. Judge declares in “The Ocean of Theosophy” that “The Earth is an entity and not a mere lump of gross matter.”
Would you like to make a difference? Would you like a higher perception of the environmental situation? Come along on Saturday 7th December and we will discover how.
