St. Germain, Cagliostro, Mesmer & Swami Dayanand
March 23 @ 3:00 pm - 6:15 pmFree
The On the Path Seminars focus on some of the greatest minds from past millennia so to help us to answer the ethical, technical and environmental challenges of today.
As societies periodically reinvent themselves so new approaches are needed that are equitable and enlightened, and provide the inspiration and guidance to individually reform our ideas, character and conduct, and as a result to discover and re-imagine a new way of life.
The 4th in the On the Path series is on these great teachers from the East and West from the 15th to the early 19th centuries who provided such a basis for man’s natural and higher development:
Swami Dayanand Saraswati, the Hindu reformer.
The profound ideas they promulgated include a scientific and ethical philosophy that gives mankind a spiritual as well as a physical and intellectual purpose to fulfill, and shows how each one can discover this for himself.
We will study their writings and lives and see how they gave the idea that man shares a divine Unity with Nature and that his journey through the universe is a natural expression of a universal system of evolutionary progress, the same throughout all of Nature.
A detailed programme will follow nearer the date
